CFO FOR P/E BACKED BUSINESS SERVICES COMPANY WITH EQUITY.

SUCCESSFUL, PROFITABLE AND GROWING MIDDLE-MARKET BUSINESS SERVICES COMPANY IS SEEKING A STRATEGIC CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER FOR THE NEXT PHASE OF OUR AGGRESSIVE GROWTH PLAN, WHICH IS TO GROW TO $200 MILLION IN REVENUES AND $50 MILLION IN EBITDA, 75% VIA ACQUISITIONS AND 25% VIA ORGANIC GROWTH WITH THE GOAL OF AN EXIT STRATEGY FOR A LIQUIDITY EVENT TO EITHER A STRATEGIC CORPORATE BUYER OR ANOTHER PRIVATE EQUITY FIRM IN 5 YEARS.

THIS CFO WILL HELP GUIDE THE COMPANY BY IMPLEMENTING SOUND FINANCIAL CONTROLS, METRICS, KPI'S AND FINANCIAL DASHBOARDS. IN ADDITION TO BEING THE LEAD ROLE IN EVALUATING AND EXECUTING ACQUISITIONS AND RELATED CAPITAL RAISING, THIS ROLE WILL ALSO BE THE LEAD ROLE IN DRIVING THE EFFECTIVE INTEGRATION OF PEOPLE, CULTURE, PROCESSES, AND SYSTEMS FOLLOWING AN ACQUISITION.

AS THE #1 FINANCIAL OFFICER, THE COMPANY IS SEEKING A STRATEGIC / BROAD EXECUTIVE, WITH AN EMPHASIS ON AND EXPERIENCE IN OPERATIONS AS WELL AS BOTH M & A EXECUTION AND POST-ACQUISITION INTEGRATION TO HELP LEAD THE COMPANY DURING A PERIOD OF RAPID GROWTH. PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE BUILDING AND IMPROVING A FINANCE ORGANIZATION INCLUDING RECRUITING TALENT AS WELL AS BUILDING PROCESSES AND INFRASTRUCTURE IS ESSENTIAL.

REPORTING TO THE CEO, THE CFO WILL OVERSEE A CONTROLLER AND BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL LONG RANGE FINANCIAL MATTERS AND TO ESTABLISH COMPANY-WIDE FINANCIAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE OBJECTIVES. AT THE SAME TIME, IT IS CRITICAL THAT THE CFO BE STRATEGIC AND A TRUSTED FINANCIAL ADVISOR TO THE CEO. THE CFO SHOULD HAVE SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE IN ACCOUNTING, FINANCIAL DASHBOARDS, DEVELOPING FORMAL BUDGETING, FORECASTING AND PROJECTIONS MODELS AND PROCEDURES AS WELL AS EXPERIENCE WITH STRATEGY, OPERATIONS, CONTRACTS, PRICING, SALES COMMISSION STRATEGIES, LABOR ANALYTICS AND M & A. PRIOR EXPERIENCE WITH REVENUE RECOGNITION POLICES BASED ON TASK / MILESTONE COMPLETION AND EXPERIENCES WITH BUSINESS MODELS THAT ARE OF A HIGH VOLUME IN PROJECT BASED WORK IS IMPORTANT.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

GENERATE MONTHLY FINANCIAL STATEMENT PACKAGES FOR MANAGEMENT, INVESTOR / BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND AUDITORS AS WELL AS ORGANIZE FINANCIAL INFORMATION AND CONSOLIDATION POLICIES ACROSS BUSINESS UNITS TO FACILITATE ACCURACY, CLARITY AND TIMELINESS OF REPORTING.

CREATE SCORECARD / DASHBOARD FOR EACH SERVICE LINE. RESPONSIBLE FOR DEVELOPING AND UTILIZING A SYSTEM OF KEY METRICS, KPI'S AND FINANCIAL MEASUREMENTS USED TO ASSESS OPERATING PERFORMANCE AND DRIVE BUSINESS DECISIONS. IDENTIFY THE KEY FINANCIAL LEVERS IN THE BUSINESS AND ESTABLISH A METRICS DRIVEN FINANCIAL MODEL AND A DATA DRIVEN ANALYTICAL CULTURE AND DECISION MAKING PROCESS. WORK CLOSELY WITH PRIVATE EQUITY FIRM AND CEO TO DEVELOP PROCESSES FOR DETAILED FINANCIAL PLANNING, FORECASTING, REPORTING, AND FINANCIAL MODELING.

DEVELOP ANNUAL BUDGETS AND OVERSEE FINANCIAL PLANNING AND ANALYSIS. PARTICIPATE IN DEVELOPMENT OF RISK MANAGEMENT POLICIES AND TOOLS FOR AREAS SUCH AS COLLECTIONS, CASH MANAGEMENT / TREASURY.

COORDINATE ALL TAX RETURNS AND REQUIRED STATUTORY FILINGS. MINIMIZE THE COMPANY'S TAX LIABILITIES AND WORK WITH MANAGEMENT TEAM TO DEVELOP COMPENSATION INCENTIVES, GROWTH PRICING AND COST CONTAINMENT STRATEGIES.

EVALUATE, SELECT AND IMPLEMENT SCALABLE I/T PLATFORMS, SOFTWARE, SYSTEMS AND PROCESSES THAT CAN ENABLE THE COMPANY TO DEVELOP KPI'S AND METRICS.

PREPARATION OF LONG-TERM FINANCIAL PLANNING AND FINANCIAL MODELING, INCLUDING PREPARING TARGETED, BEST CASE & WORST CASE ANALYSIS INCLUDING FIVE YEAR ROLLING PLAN.

DEVELOPMENT AND ADHERENCE TO AGREED UPON FINANCIAL REPORTING DEADLINES, COMPANY POLICIES, AND DEPARTMENTAL PROCEDURES AS WELL AS ORGANIZE FINANCIAL INFORMATION.

RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL M & A EXECUTION AND POST-ACQUISITION INTEGRATION INITIATIVES.

INITIAL PUBLIC ACCOUNTING / CPA FOUNDATION PREFERRED BUT NOT CRITICAL. 10+ YEARS OF SUCCESSFUL EXPERIENCE WITH A MIDDLE-MARKET COMPANY AS A CFO AND DEMONSTRATED TRACK RECORD OF ACHIEVEMENT HELPING BOTH TOP-LINE REVENUES AND EBITDA GROW.

PREVIOUS CFO EXPERIENCE FOR A MIDDLE-MARKET COMPANY BACKED BY A MIDDLE-MARKET PRIVATE EQUITY FIRM WHERE YOU AS THE CFO CONTRIBUTED TO HELPING GROW TOP-LINE REVENUE AND EBITDA GROW.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AS A CFO HELPING THE PRIVATE EQUITY FIRM THROUGH A SUCCESSFUL SALE TO EITHER ANOTHER PRIVATE EQUITY FORM OR TO A STRATEGIC CORPORATE BUYER.

PROVEN ABILITY TO CREATE, IMPLEMENT (OR IMPROVE UPON), AND UTILIZE A SYSTEM OF KEY METRICS AND FINANCIAL MEASUREMENTS (IE: BENCHMARKING, SCORECARDING & FINANCIAL DASHBOARDS ) USED TO MEASURE OPERATING PERFORMANCE AND HELP DRIVE MANAGERIAL DECISION MAKING_._

EXPERIENCE AT A BUSINESS SERVICES COMPANY WITH DRIVING REVENUE AND PROFITABILITY AT A COMPANY WHOSE INDUSTRY IS PROVIDING PROFESSIONAL / BUSINESS SERVICES TO ITS CLIENTS THAT INVOLVE A HIGH VOLUME OF PROJECT BASED SERVICES.

PREVIOUSLY WORKED IN AN ENTREPRENEURIAL ENVIRONMENT. CAN BALANCE BEING A PARTNER TO THE CEO AND RESPONSIBILITY TO INVESTORS.
