Job Description
Supervision of WTC operating engineering staff;the responsibilities consist but not limited to the safe and economical operation of all campus plumbing, hvac, elevators, fire supression systems, building handicapped accessibility, computerized building systems (BAS), contracted services, budget and maintenance management, capital project and union issues
Minimum Education or Experience
High school, G.E.D. or trade school diploma and a minimum 15 years field experience as a stationary engineer. City of Chicago Stationary Engineers License, member of I.U.O.E. local 399
Computer Skills:
Must have computer skills relating to Delta Building Automation Systems, Simplex and Siemens Fire/Safety Building Systems.
Qualifications:
High school, G.E.D. or trade school diploma, City of Chicago Stationary engineers license; Minimum 15 years field experience as a stationary engineer. Supervisory experience preferably as an Asst. Chief engineer. Experience in computers, budget and maintenance Management.
