bCHIEF OF INTERNAL MEDICINEb The Section of Internal Medicine at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center is actively recruiting for the Chief of Internal Medicine. The new center opened in September 2011 on the Banner Gateway Medical Center campus in the Phoenix metropolitan area. Candidates should have excellent clinical training and oncology experience, and interest in clinical research. Qualified candidates are required to be board certified. The Section of Internal Medicine will include clinicians from all of the non-oncologic internal medicine disciplines. They will be responsible for the management of medical issues of patients with hematologic or solid tumor malignancies and also stem cell transplantation and work closely with the oncology team utilizing a multidisciplinary care model. Designed with The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center experts, the center has an evidence-based design, state-of-the-art technology and advance treatment capabilities.
