Based in our Tempe, Arizona Operations Center, conveniently located at the 101 Freeway and Elliott, this key role supports our Enterprise Middleware Services Team as a CI/CD Design and Support Engineer. The team is responsible for code migrations from development through production. This individual will be responsible for enhancing and automating the current systems to better enable agile development across IT. We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about their job and has the technical expertise to succeed!

The ideal candidate would have CI/CD experience within a medium to large enterprise environment, preferably implementing from scratch.

This role will collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to design and deploy best in class Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery best-practices. Secondary responsibility will be to support CA Release Automation.

This is a fast-paced team and the successful candidate must be able to act with a sense of urgency and able to adapt to changing priorities.

Candidate should have at least 3 years' experience and Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.

DESIRED SKILLS:

Atlassian suite of tools, specifically JIRA, Bamboo, and Stash

Administration of a Maven Repository (Nexus or Artifactory)

Application release automation or code migrations utilizing CA Release Automation (Nolio), Hudson, or similar tools.

RECOMMENDED SKILLS:

Experience with middleware including WebLogic, Tomcat, and/or .Net application servers, MQ, and databases

Experience installing and administering applications in Unix, Linux, and Windows environments including debugging and command line

Strong experience with Java development

Familiarity with Service-oriented Architecture (SOA); things like web services, SOAP or JSON, etc.

Familiarity with REST API integration

Familiarity with JUnit and/or TestNG

Strong scripting experience

ITSM process experience utilizing ticketing tools like Remedy or Service-Now

General networking/internet communication protocols

Familiarity with Docker containerization a plus

Familiarity with code scanning tools such as Sonar, Checkmarx, Threadfix, etc. a plus

UNIX Administration experience a plus

MS Server Administration a plus
