Description: The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is responsible for effectively creating/maintaining/advancing the technology environments such that the strategic, clinical and operational functions of Margaret R. Pardee Memorial Hospital are supported appropriately. Responsible for day-to-day operations of all Information Technology related departments/areas within the organization, including project management, data management, vendor management, equipment management, process design and support, budget management, executive/physician relationships, staffing and status reporting. Expected to exemplify hospital policies, procedures, mission, vision, and values.Minimum qualifications: Bachelor s Degree in Management Information Systems or Computer Science and Masters degree in Business Administration, Health Administration or Computer Science required. Ten or more years of demonstrated progressively responsible experience and demonstrated leadership in technical systems and data processing operations is required. Demonstrated considerable knowledge of modern management principles, practices, and methods is necessary. Strong teamwork, interpersonal relations, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills are required. Requires ability to get along with diverse personalities and handle multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities. Must possess a solid record of effective physician relations, including ability to work with physicians for problem solving and development/implementation of new programs. Must be tactful, mature, flexible, and possess good reasoning abilities. FT Exempt 1st shift
