POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for coordination of daily clinical operation of unit. Communicates effectively with staff, physicians, director, patients, and interdepartmentally to facilitate the day-to-day operations in regards to the assigned unit. Accountable for delegated duties pertaining to the functions of a specific department. Functions as a leader interdepartmentally by facilitating operations in regards to the assigned unit.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, & EXPERIENCE
Graduate from accredited school or obtains registry as required for position. Licensed and currently registered as a professional in the State of Indiana.
Minimum of three (3) years clinical experience in area of expertise with achievement of all required classes and certification.
Bachelors in Nursing, Management or related field or working toward same at six (6) credit hours per year.
Meets, maintains requirements under Advanced category for the Professional Performance Program. Demonstrates willingness to work towards achievement of Clinical Expert category.
Possesses leadership qualities, good interpersonal communication skills, critical thinking and problem solving skills. Motivated to learn new management skills and to develop possible changes for the assigned area.
Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development. Attendance at Lead Institute mandatory. Full-time Days, Ocassional Wknds & Hldys
