Job Description

Since its inception in 1910 as a 24-bed hospital, Swedish Medical Center has grown into a 1,245-bed medical center comprised of three hospital campuses in Seattle.

This CMMS System Analyst / Administrator position is unique in that it supports a variety of client groups within Swedish Health Services including Facility Engineering, Medical Engineering, Clinical Engineering, Construction, and Environmental Services. The Hiring Manager for this position has been with Swedish Medical Center for over 10 years and would be able to provide a wealth of knowledge for someone looking to grow and expand in their CMMS System Analyst / Administrator career!
This is a full time exempt position at our First Hill Campus in Seattle, supporting all campuses in the Swedish Health System. Swedish Medical Center is looking for an outstanding CMMS System Analyst / Administrator to join our Facilities Services team! The CMMS System Analyst / Administrator operates and maintains Swedish Health Services' Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) system (Maintenance Connection) and its interfaces.
Job responsibilities include:
* Prepare, maintain, and revise Preventative Maintenance and Regulatory Compliance Orders within Maintenance Connection.
* Make a daily, weekly, and monthly schedule by analyzing proactive versus reactive measures to maximize efficiencies and ensuring flexibility to meet clients' needs.
* Liaise regularly with end users / work groups to ensure effective use of Maintenance Connection. Maintain open communications accepting feedback to improve systems. Understand global impact of user requests and diplomatically problem solve to find alternate solutions.
* Configure and prepare system reports and ad hoc reports within Maintenance Connection. Measure and report performance metrics to management and client groups.
* Understand work flow processes and interactions. Note trends that should be discussed with management.
* Coach and train staff on the Maintenance Connection CMMS solution and best practices for performing tasks, including providing training with PDAs.

* Bachelor's Degree (BS in Management Information Systems or Computer Information Systems) from college or university and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Three to five years related experience in database administration, web application development (ASP is highly desired), MS SQL Server 2000/2005/2008, PC and Mobile, hardware/software, LANS, Windows Server, and data communication systems. Experience with Maintenance Connection or IBM Maximo EAM strongly preferred; including application customization and database administration.
* Facilities background experience desired.
* Good working knowledge with application maintenance to include: database configuration; screen customization; application customizations; setting up launch applications; process documentation; root-cause analysis of system problems; system enhancements; application security maintenance; report development; and other essential ongoing maintenance.
* Good understanding of Preventative Maintenance procedures, repair work, and maintenance performance metrics.
