A. Summary of Job Purpose: To safely and efficiently carry out assigned patient care tasks in compliance with The Kingston Hospitals policies and procedures. The PCT I must be able to ambulate, lift and transfer patients as essential functions of this position.
B. Essential Job Qualifications:

Education: High school graduate or equivalency
Experience: Six (6) months or more experience in direct patient care and a nursing student with one semester of clinical nursing semesters-LPN or RN preferred.
Training/License: Previous hospital experience preferred/BLS certification within 90 days
Other: Demonstrates verbal, written and mathematical skills consistent with high school graduate. Ability to interact appropriately. Has selected computer skills.
NOTE: PER DIEM EMPLOYEES ONLY Weekend requirement is a minimum of one weekend shift in a four week time block. Full-time Nights High School/GED
