Job Description
GENERAL FUNCTION: The Community Reinvestment Department is responsible for establishing CRA Policy for the Bank, monitoring the Banks performance in complying with the requirements of the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA). These tasks are done through educating employees concerning the intricacies of the CRA and coordinating efforts amongst business lines in addressing banking needs of low- and moderate-income persons and communities. Credit Analyst II will assist in periodic compilation of lending reports to Bancorp and Affiliate Management for analysis and tracking purposes. Provide assistance in Bancorp assessment efforts for community credit needs of communities we serve, especially those consisting of low- and moderate income. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assist in preparing periodic analysis and reporting of HMDA, Small Business/Small Farm and Community Development loan information for all affiliates as a part of the Bancorp self-assessment procedures. * Prepare market comparative analysis annually for all markets in which the Bancorp has an operating affiliate. This analysis includes compiling aggregate market and competitor data for evaluation of Affiliate performance in the market. * Providing periodic assistance in completing data integrity reviews for Small Business/Small Farm data and Consumer lending data. * Provide assistance with technical research assignments concerning the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA). This would include explaining new or existing requirements under CRA to Affiliate and Bancorp personnel. * As needed assist in facilitating CRA training sessions for various Bank personnel. * Other job related duties as assigned. Job Experience:
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: * Strong computer skills û Excel (Spreadsheet), special data systems (i.e. CRA WIZ), (HMDA) Analysis. * Strong organizational development skills. * A better than average knowledge of CRA Regulations. * A minimum of a Bachelors Degree is required, Business, Accounting, Finance, Information System Planning or Community Planning major is preferred. * Prefer minimum of two (2) years of CRA related experience.E.O.E., M/F/D/V Federal law requires that we hire only U.S. citizens or aliens authorized to work in the United States.
