Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:- Supervise a team of Coverage Determination Process (CDP) Managed Care Representatives (MCRs) and/or CDP Resolution Experts (RE?s)- Facilitate implementation of new programs and enhancements- Coach, develop, recognize, counsel and train employees to achieve weekly expectations- Facilitate problem solving and demonstrate creative thinking- Assure follow-up to open issues- Review daily correspondence for correct assessment and routing- Address urgent issues and resolve escalations- Lead a team of Managed Care CDP Representatives toward achieving the goals set for the Managed Care Department- Promote the seamless operation of all Managed Care teams in accomplishing all the functions of the Managed Care Department- Ensure that all Compliance protocols are followed- Actively assist staff in achieving quality and efficiency gains through coaching and the creation of a positive and supportive environment- Positively interact with other departments and individuals to achieve business goals - Problem solve and be resourceful, ability to lead by example, solid organizational skills, make sound decisions, and maintain a high level of creativity- Maintain a constant and even demeanor with health care practitioners, patients, and fellow employees- Train and coach- Provide attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks - Be flexible and adaptable- Other duties as assignedSelected candidate must be willing to work a variety of shifts to accommodate the hours of operation M-F 7 am -12midnight CST and include a Sat 7am-7pm CST

Requirements:
- Prior Supervisory experience preferred- College degree preferred-Demonstrated leadership skills including coaching, conflict management, change management and ability to deliver difficult messages in a constructive manner is required - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills- Received High quality in Icare/Magic required- Excellent quality and efficiency in current position- Excellent attendance within the last 6 months- Excellent time management skills required- Excellent interpersonal skills required- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office applications- Related Customer Service experience required- Experience in one or all or the following: coaching, counseling, and/or supervising associates - Employees who are are on an active Written warning or above (which would be a written or above issued in the previous six months) are not eligibleThe successful candidate for this position will be a self-starter with a superior customer service orientation. Previous experience in a Managed Care function and in people management is beneficial.
