POSITION SUMMARY


Under the leadership of the Director of Imaging Services and Supervisor is responsible for the handling and treatment of all patients from adolescence through all stages of adult life, during their CT imaging procedure. Demonstrates technical expertise in the utilization of specialized Radiographic equipment. Exercises initiative, independent judgment, and discretion in performing daily activities. Submits accurate and timely imaging, patient history documentation, and case charging. Is a professional role model to students, and supports their clinical experience by answering questions politely and encouraging their self-development. Is responsible for students under their direction. Supports the departments initiatives related to patient and employee satisfaction, and works well as a member of a team.

QUALIFICATIONS


Qualifications


Education


High school diploma or equivalent.

Graduate of AMA accredited school of Radiologic Technology.

ARRT Certification.

Ohio License.

AHA BLS.

Two years of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

One year of CT imaging /Cross sectional anatomy preferred.

If registry eligible, must obtain certification within twelve months of hire date. AHA BLS.

Computer Skills


Basic computer skills including typing/keyboarding and ability to proficiently use a variety of software applications such as Microsoft Office.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent telephone etiquette.

Self-motivation essential.
