span B Calendaring Specialist Role Available Immediately! Near Downtown Kansas City, MO /B br   br B KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: /B br ul
li Examines pleadings, motions, orders, and other legal documents to determine the corresponding litigation deadlines. /li li Ensures that calendar entries and related questions are prioritized appropriately and completed in a timely fashion with minimal errors. /li li Accountable for accurately responding to questions and identifying problems in calendar entries informed by a thorough understanding of the rules of civil procedure and other relevant rules in applicable jurisdictions. /li li Accountable for clear communication, prompt response, and excellent service toward attorneys and staff at all levels in assisting with calendar requests and related questions. /li li Accountable  for  calendar  entries  input  correctly  into  the  system,  including  linking  appropriate documentation from the DMS. Accountable for making accurate decisions about whether to escalate when an irregularity occurs. /li li Ensures accurate information is shared with internal customers about the roles of  various firm administrative departments. /li /ul
  br B TECHNICAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: /B br ul
li Demonstrated  familiarity  with  CompuLaw  or  other  calendar/docketing  tools.      /li li Demonstrated ability to: organize and prioritize numerous tasks; address tasks in a logical sequence and; minimize errors while maintaining quick turnaround times /li li Demonstrated ability to communicate with and effectively follow the direction of a diverse group of attorneys and staff, and to provide good customer service to all levels of an organization. /li li Demonstrated familiarity with basic elements of law firm structure and administration /li li Demonstrated, basic familiarity with the Rules of Civil Procedure for State and Federal courts in the United States. /li /ul
