Job Description

University Hospitals Medical Group (UHMG), the unified faculty practice plan of University Hospitals, is comprised of several practices representing medical and surgical specialties located within University Hospitals Case Medical Center and throughout Northeastern Ohio. As part of our historic primary affiliation, many of the UHMG physicians serve on the faculty of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. * Supervise practice operations and support functions; including patient registration, scheduling, cash collection, medical record management and charge reconciliation
* Coordinates all performance criteria for practice staff to ensure that quality benchmarks are met
* Maintain adequate front end coverage according to volume, provider needs and revenue generation
* Communicates with physicians, patients, staff and administration on front end operations and billing issues
* Prepares reports and tracks practice trends
* Hires, trains and develops team members
* Acts as coach/mentor/trainer to representatives
* Provides cross-coverage for all areas of practice as needed

Position Requirements:
Two years supervisory experience, preferably in a medical setting
Knowledge of physician practice management
Medical billing experience
Excellent customer service, communication, organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to implement and monitor change

**Candidate must have call center experience, working phone systems and working with a phone system with knowledge of phone statistics, such as average speed of answer, abandon rates, average handled time, etc**
Education Requirements:
Associates Degree Required
Bachelors Degree in Business Management or Healthcare preferred
License Requirements:
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with IDX
Proficient in MS Office Applications
Advanced knowledge of insurance, plan requirements and verification techniques
