Recruit Veterans is looking for a Capture / Proposal Manager in Austin, TX. Position Summary The Capture/Proposal Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities using EZGovOpps, FBO, GSA E-buy and similar tools. As potential opportunities are identified, the Capture / Proposal Manager will present the opportunities to the business development team and senior leadership so that a Go/No Go decision can be made. Once a decision to pursue the opportunity has been made, the Capture / Proposal Manager will lead and manage the proposal process from cradle to grave; including teaming agreements and partnerships. Position Duties Participates in evaluating prospective bids in regards to business alignment with growth objectives. Identifies and prioritizes opportunities and presents potential business development and senior leadership. Builds relationships and interfaces with all levels of governments to include: Federal, State and Local Governments. Exercises attention to detail in regards to following solicitation instructions and process requirements. Coordinates the proposal timeline, develops meeting agendas, prepares materials and develops proposal strategy / win themes. Directs the process of gathering, reviewing and submitting the Request for Proposal (RFP). Work with each internal Department Head for vital information input. Establishes Compliance Matrix to ensure proposal is submitted correctly, completely, accurately, intellectually, timely and with integrity. Engages with prospective teammates and coordinates the execution of teaming agreements and subcontract awards. Upon new contract award, manages and presents kick-off meeting and coordinates with teaming partners outlining the expected timeline for transition / implementation. Experience Required Bachelor s degree in business, marketing or related field preferred Minimum 3-5 experience in government proposal writing and facilitation experience. Proven ability to identify and win new business. Strong organizational, time management, self-motivated and exemplary communication skills are required. Expert knowledge of all levels of government RFPs, solicitations and proposal processes. Experience Preferred Experience working on Public sector proposals at the Federal, State and Local levels. Thorough understanding of government business cycles, bids and RFP processes. Program Management experience to include proposal components. Experience with EZGovOpps.
