Cardiovascular Specialist

Responsibilities: Reporting to the Manager of Interventional Angiography/Cardiac Cath Lab Services, the Cardiovascular Specialist is an integrated position consisting of team members with the following licensure: Registered Nurse(RN). The team member is expected to perform a variety of specialized invasive cardiovascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures that assist in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of cardiovascular disease.
Qualifications: Completion of an accredited program, possess a current Maryland license in the employed profession, and current CPR and ACLS. Previous experience in Cardiovascular Imaging or in a Critical Care setting. Newly employed specialists may require up to 6 months of job orientation, training, and competency assessments to perform the full range of duties assigned to the Cardiovascular Specialist.
