Description: The Case Management Manager is responsible for and accountable for planning, organizing and managing the daily operations of the department in accordance with current Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulatory authorities that govern the facility. The Manager assures that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times and the organization s goals are fulfilled. The Manager reports to the Director of Case Management.Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing or health information management; Associates degree required, Bachelors degree preferred. Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Nurse in North Carolina or compact state. Three years of recent clinical experience in an acute care setting, one year experience in Case Management required; previous supervisory experience highly preferred. Prior experience with Midas, Interqual preferred. Must be able to perform Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI). BLS certification required. Case Management certification required. RHIA certification preferred. FT Exempt 1st shift
