Award winning , Dallas based, off premise catering company , Culinary Art Catering, is growing our team and seeking a full time Catering Coordinator. This position is primarily responsible for detailing and finalizing booked events including collecting payments, handling menu tastings and menu selections, creating event timelines and communicating clients selections with the production staff. This position will assist sales manager with preparing proposals and following up with potential and booked clients as required. This person will also assist with being onsite at events to handle event setup, typically through food service. The position requires weekday office hours and weekend hours (typically in the evenings), depending on event schedule. This person will also assist with tradeshows and promotional open house events that are held at various locations to promote our services. Amazing events with attention to detail, excellent customer service and, of course, the most delicious food available are the core of our company. We are seeking someone with a knowledge of food, a passion for hospitality and excellent customer service skills. The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer service and a working knowledge of weddings and events. Preferably some experience running events from a venue or catering perspective. Must be an energetic and enthusiastic professional who is up to the challenge and ready to work in a fast paced, high volume environment! Candidate should be self motivated, extremely organized and able to work in a team environment. This position will report to a Catering Sales Manager, General Manager and company Owner. This is an entry level position with much opportunity for advancement.
