Sodexo's Universities Segment is seeking an experienced Catering Manager 4 for TCU located in Fort Worth, TX! The Catering Manager will oversee an innovative, high end catering program for a very high end, high profile client as well as oversee the day-to-day catering scheduling/technical delivery of campus catering. The Catering Manager will be responsible for the day to day operational standards for this $3+ million dollar catering business. The Catering Manager will create elegant and sophisticated catering experiences that exceed culinary and service expectations while enhancing client program objectives. This position is responsible for the organization and execution of all catering events, management of a diverse group of employees, and will work closely with our talented Executive Chef. The ideal candidate will have: * Strong catering experience in high end/high volume catering environment, including solid financial acumen and deep understanding of the technical delivery aspect of catering; * High volume catering / banquet experience from a Campus or Banquet/Conference Center background; * Capacity/background/experience to manage all catering services throughout entire campus; * Catering experience/knowledge to manage the high end and fine dining requirements and follow the state and university budget guidelines; * Ability to set high standards to represent Sodexo and the university philosophy to include promotion of health/wellness and nutritional dining; * Ability to communicate work with all levels of staff/management at the campus, as well as all those that work within the various departments and functions; * Ability to build, train and mentor a solid catering team who share same level commitment and passion to catering: quality presentation, customer service, professionalism. The team must be able to meet the range of service requirements from the Board Rooms and Presidents home to the more routine every day style of services as well as student friendly low-budget options. * Ability to multi-task and delegate to coordinate multiple events and utilize a systems based approach to meet each events time-lines/specifications and quality of product. Position Summary Provides supervision for catering services at an account/unit to ensure client satisfaction and retention for the Company. Implements business practices order to uphold Company mission and values. Contributes to account revenue and operating profit contribution through the implementation of services and creation of opportunities for growth. Plans projects, including defining objectives, methods, timetables and budget to support client and Sodexo's strategic plan. Provides creativity and innovation to develop services and offerings that consistently evolve to drive customer and client satisfaction. Effectively engages with client partners at the highest level of the client organization to drive client confidence and loyalty. Qualifications & Requirements Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree. Basic Management Experience -1 Year Basic Functional Experience -3 years of experience in catering, food production, or food service management or a related field.
