Based at our Greenwood Village Home Office, you will building catering infrastructure within the enterprise and develop sales strategy, business plans and tactics to build catering sales. You will also researche and evaluate strategic partners to expand catering platform while overseeing execution of catering program. You will be responsible for establishing process for catering hierarchy, booking, organizing, servicing, and running catered events. Duties Include: Establishes catering sales objectives by region/restaurant. Achieves budgeted revenue goals. Maintains a strong focus on customer satisfaction and focused on relationship management. Partner to develop catering and large party menu. Educate, train and support Catering Sales Managers in the implementation of catering sales. Lead weekly cadence of accountability meetings with Catering Sales Managers. Manages operating budget for catering sales department. Works collaboratively with the Directors of Alternate Platforms to promote high levels of execution and sales results. Monitor in-store operations on catering execution & best practices for compliance with company standards. Prepare and present catering business reviews with Director of Alternate Platforms. Develop and communicate national and local catering sales and marketing initiatives. Develop business relationships with national and regional catering buyers. Attend community events with catering sales managers to promote brand awareness and catering in the community. Requirements: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred; or equivalent work experience 2+ years experience in catering operations 4+ years experience in restaurant operations or experience working in the restaurant or retail industry Experience managing outsourced services and other 3rd party vendors Understands and manages challenges that arise due to holistic transformation, including escalating issues appropriately Understands current tools used by Red Robin and seeks continuous improvement through creative thinking and problem solving Can create concise and appropriate communications for various audiences (e.g., business leaders, Operations team members) Proven ability to build relationships and gain credibility in areas beyond defined scope of work Demonstrated ability to work within an evolving and dynamic environment Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills Proven expertise in implementing and managing projects across all levels of an organization Ability to gain consensus among disparate groups and cross-functional teams Entrepreneurial aptitude with a commitment to team members and high work quality Up to 75' travel Red Robin is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer
