Job Description: A unique opportunity to sell for two brands - Sheraton Charlotte Hotel and Le Meridien Charlotte! Our newly renovated Charlotte hotel complex boasts 605 room, over 55,000 square feet of meeting space, and was named Charlotte Hotel of the Year for 2015. In addition, we have 4 F&B Outlets including: City Lights (Rooftop Bar), Craft City Social Club, Evoke (multi award-winning steakhouse, and Social Bar & Kitchen. This position is responsible for soliciting new catering accounts, entertaining and maintaining relationships with existing accounts to meet and/or exceed food and beverage revenue goals set forth by the Director of Catering and Convention Services. Oversee client functions to ensure customer satisfaction while partnering with the banquet operation. Job Duties: Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication. Prepare correspondence and/or contracts to customers, internal booking reports and file maintenance. Participate in daily business review briefing, pre-convention meetings, training and other catering sales related meetings as required. Work with other departments within the hotel to provide quality service to customers. Attend community/social events and industry meeting Develop/maintain knowledge of market trends, competition and customers.
