Direct day-to-day catering sales activities, achieve budgeted revenues and assist in maximizing profitability for the food and beverage department. Create unique menus with our Culinary Team designed to meet the needs of our guests while exceeding their expectations. Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and outside contacts in order to produce group and/or convention catering food and beverage sales and rooms. Participate in the preparation of the annual departmental catering budget, assist the Director of Sales in the preparation of the annual hotel marketing plan and business plan. Create and implement sales plans that drive measurable incremental revenues, increase check averages and increase volume. Create and develop special events and sales blitzes to showcase the hotel to potential clients. Attend trade shows and major market events locally to promote new business and increase sales and marketing opportunities for the hotel.
