Job Description

Responsible for maximizing catering revenue in order to achieve personal and team goals, and serve as the primary wedding rooms and catering salesevent coordinator. This position is responsible for generating sales that support overall resort profitability.

Responsibilities:

Meet or exceed dailyweeklymonthly room revenue booking goals for wedding room blocks and catering.

Prepare information for, meet with, and conduct site visits for clients as necessary to generate potential business.

Maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel, both orally and in written form to previous, current, and potential clients.

Organize and plan all details of the clients needs including: menus, function room layout, outside activities, meeting times.

Facilitate clear communication (including resumes and BEOs) of all account details to appropriate hotel departments.

Ensure that all billing and charges for services are rendered.

Participate in Manager-On-Duty program and provide office coverage when necessary.

Communicate effectively with Sales team members and all other departments within the hotel.

Work effectively and cooperatively with other associates to maintain a cohesive operating unit and achieve common goals.

Complete all weeklymonthly reports as directed in established timeframe.
