Purpose

To sell lithium primary, MP, small VL and nickel products to the existing and new oil and gas application market customers in a professional and ethical manner. Insure that sales are targeted at technically appropriate applications and that quality of effort is not compromised. Work in conjunction with support persons in factories to rapidly grow Saft business.

Responsibilities

Grow sales volume in order to meet division goals by a professional and aggressive approach to sales efforts. Prospect on a regular basis for new customers in order to increase customer base. Provide timely and accurate forecasts and activity reports to the Sales Manager in order to enable management to proactively manage the business. Assist Marketing by providing pertinent feedback from the region concerning both product and market trends in order to support the proper product offering. Provide technical support to customer engineers as a stop-gap to full support from factories in order to meet the customers short term technical needs. Provide support to Customer Service in all aspects pertaining to order input, customer support, providing requested documentation and general feedback in order to foster superior customer service.

Minimum Requirements

Education:
Bachelor's degree, Specific sales training certificate programs preferred

Experience:
3 - 5 years proven, successful sales experience, with a focus on prospecting, hunting, and closing

Specific Knowledge:
Existing knowledge/experience in the battery industry, or a proven ability to learn primary and rechargeable lithium batteries electronics, physics, chemistry. Knowledge/experience in any of the followiung markets: medical decvices, metering, Internet of Things, Oil&Gas, Military.

Business:
Proven experience/excellence in all aspects of the sales proccess, with an emphasis on consultative selling. Experience with forecasting and CRM systems.
