Responsible for the daily activities of the Central Service Processing Department which includes all aspects of the decontamination and sterilization processes.
Completion of an approved Central Service Training course.
Must have One Year Current Hospital Experience in Central Sterile
Experience In a Central Service Department
Active Certification from the National Institute for the Certification of Healthcare Sterile Processing and Distribution
Ability to communicate effectively in english both verbally and in writing.
Ability to lift thirty (30) pounds or more.
Abillity to push carts with weights of 100 pounds or more.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, ability to see; small objects/letters/numbers, color vision; ability to see and distinguish different colors, and the ability to adjust focus.
