Summary of Job Duties
The Nursing Assistant assists in patient care throughout nursing areas, and is responsible for the safe transport of patients via wheelchair or stretcher, dispatch services and appropriate documentation of services. Performs general receptionist and clerical duties in order to facilitate efficient functioning of the nursing. Under the supervision of the RN, the nursing assistant provides routine nursing care in accordance with the policies and procedures of the nursing department.

Qualifications & Requirements
Ability to effectively communicate orally and in written format
Acute care experience preferred
Basic computer knowledge preferred
Current California CN Certificate or current enrollment in (having completed the first semester/quarter) of an accredited RN or LVN School of Nursing, or a graduate of an accredited RN or LVN School of Nursing
Must possess Current American Heart Association BLS Certification Full time Day Shift
