Certified Nurse Midwife

OBGYN Associates of Southern Indiana is a large and progressive independent OBGYN practice serving patients in Floyd County, Indiana, where we are the countys sole multi-physician OBGYN practice. Our team consists of seven physicians and two nurse practitioners. We take extreme pride in delivering high quality patient care to both high and low risk patients in Southern Indiana. We provide a broad menu of care for our ObstetricsGynecological patients including: prenatal care and education, routine and diagnostic surgeries, gynecological exams, diagnosis and treatment of urinary incontinence and a variety of other services. Our office also provides additional services such as liposuction, breast augmentation and lift, treatment of varicose veins and laser hair removal. We are working with Floyd Memorial Hospital to develop a midwifery program in Floyd County, Indiana. We are seeking an experienced certified nurse midwife (CNM) to help start a new midwifery program within our practice. With only one CNM program currently in place in our entire region, there is a clearly underserved need for CNMs, and wed like to be at the forefront of care by being one of the first groups to offer this service to our patients. The CNM position would be employed by our group and would be involved with all aspects of patient care. Plans are in place to hire a second CNM after the program is up and running. We provide services to patients in seven counties in Southern Indiana with a population of over 300,000 lives, and hope to begin to pull a significant number of patients from Louisville, Kentucky.
