The Certified OR Technician assists in the provision of care for the surgical patient for a designated time frame under the direction of the RN. The Certified OR Technician performs scrub duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS 1. Certification required within 1 year of hire. 2. Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program. 3. Must be BLS certified within 3 months of hire. 4. Experience preferred. 5. Must possess excellent manual dexterity and demonstrate organizational and communication skills and be able to anticipate the needs of the surgeon. 6. Must maintain confidentiality, demonstrate compassion, empathy, and respect for all customers. 7. Must be able to demonstrate basic computer skills in a Windows environment. 8. Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment. 9. Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission and vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.
