Facilitate proper communication;

Properly identify patients and specimens using 2 identifying markers according to policy and procedure;
Recognize incorrect & duplicate orders;
Recognize Quality Assurance issues and report/document according to policy and procedure;
Utilize all required computer systems and programs;
Perform special duties and projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS



Education


High school diploma or equivalent.


Completion of Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant Program.

BLS certification

Computer Skills


Basic computer skills including typing/keyboarding and ability to proficiently use a variety of software applications such as Microsoft Office.

Internal and External communication


Ability to effectively utilize the English language in verbal and written form.
