The IT Support position is a North America role with main focus of responsibilities to assist with change management and critical incident management projects, as well as operational excellence initiatives ensuring that they are delivered effectively. This person will report in to the regional Governance team and will need to communicate effectively with end users as well as internal and external applications teams. They will need to be experienced in MS Office products, including Word, Excel and PPT.



This position supports local, regional/country and sometimes global level planning and delivery in the areas of Change Management and Critical Incident Management, including managing Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions. This role is responsible for carrying planning and delivery activities as they relate to communication, oral and written, including meeting organization, minutes, task and deliverable follow up. Additionally, this position is responsible for tracking the statuses of all current Root Cause Analyses and Corrective Actions, and communicating to individuals assigned or to superiors for status updates.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:

Change Advisory Board (CAB)

- Assist in the preparations for weekly CAB meetings and communications of periodic information updates per process requirements.

- Prepare reports and configure change requests for approval / rejection for CAB weekly meetings (Invensys and NAM)

- Communicate with requesters and actively maintain updates to change requests prior to meetings.

- Assist, contribute to, and when needed, step in to run CAB meetings on a weekly basis

- Follow-up with CAB members after weekly meetings as necessary.

- Apply a structured change management approach and methodology for IT enhancements and changes.

- Assist by advising in developing a change management strategy based on a situational awareness of the details of the change and the groups being impacted by the change.

- Work with project teams to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan.

Critical Incident Management (CIM)

- Assist with Critical Incident Management process, training and communications (audience, locations, execution, scheduling).

- Respond quickly and communicate effectively to alert others when a relevant Critical Incident is reported

- Monitor ongoing Critical Incidents for updates

- Maintain and manage Root Cause Analysis process, communication and documentation

- Maintain and manage Corrective Action process, communication and documentation

- Keep an active log of the status of all Root Cause analyses

- Coordinate CIM reports, analysis, statistics and feedback.

- Assist with CIM deliverables across all applications defined within the process, including Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions.

- Update and modify Incidents, RCAs, and Corrective Actions in stored database system

- Support conflict resolution with people, deliverables, time lines

- Create and upload content to various platforms, including email and web portals

- Keep communication portal organized and updated with CIM information

- Assist with the distribution of CIM communications upon request including periodic program updates and reports
