Job Description
Company: HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley
Facility: Kingston Hospital at Kingston
Department: 2 West - Surgical
Summary of Job Purpose: The charge nurse is under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager and is responsible and accountable for the on-going daily clinical activity, staff, care of patients, delegation of tasks and supports the hospital mission, goals, policies and procedures.
Essential Job Qualifications:
Education: Minimum of associates degree or equivalent
Experience: med/surg experience
Training/License: Current NYS Registered Nurse License
Other: BLS required. ACLS and Med/Surg Certifications preferred
Full-time Evenings/Nights Associates Degree
