JOB DESCRIPTION.


CDI Government Services is seeking a Chemist, to work in a lab on a Synthetic Chemistry project that deals with combating Weapons of Mass Destruction.

This long term position is located in Laurel, MD, near Columbia. CDI does offer company paid benefits including vacation and paid holidays.

Job description:

In a Laboratory, you will work on synthesizing and characterizing target molecules. You will also be performing reactivity studies of compounds or classes of compounds. Assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations to the Government Sponsors of this project will also be required.

REQUIREMENTS:

* B.S. or M.S. in Chemistry.
* 2- 6 years experience in a laboratory setting, with Synthetic Chemistry projects.
* Possess a willingness to learn synthetic methodology and techniques.
* Ability to work independently as well as under the direction of senior team members.
* Due to ITAR regulations you must be a US Citizen to work at the facility
* Candidates must be able to be processed for a DoD Secret Clearance.
Note: Due to ITAR compliance, this position requires U.S Citizenship.

Candidates chosen must be able to pass background investigations and Drug Screens.
