Job Description
Company: Mount Ascutney Hospital - DHA
Facility: Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center at Windsor
Department: Accounting
Plans, organizes, and directs the financial services operation, including the development, interpretation, coordination, and administration of the hospital s policies on finance, accounting, insurance, financial/accounting systems, internal controls, and auditing. Provides direction and leadership for Material Management, Patient Financial services and Health Information Management.
Develops the three year financial plan as a link to the overall organization strategic plan. In conjunction with the financial plan establishes the process to obtain access to financing for major initiatives including tax exempt debt instruments. Monitors debt covenants and other obligations contained in financing agreements to insure compliance.
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for the overall financial management of the Hospital in accordance with sound business practices and local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
Education: Master s Degree and CPA preferred
Experience: Sufficient previous financial management experience in a hospital setting. Full-time
