Job Description

Company: FirstHealth of the Carolinas
Facility: FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital at Pinehurst
Department: Administration - Executive

Responsible for all operational aspects of Moore Regional Hospital, including, but not limited to MRH revenue and expense performance, patient satisfaction, employee satisfaction and physician satisfaction. Provides administrative support to assigned directors and staff; performs functions consistent with supervisory role, including hiring, performance evaluation, coaching and counseling. Participates in development and implementation of MRH and FirstHealth budgets and operational policies. Responsible for ensuring MRH compliance with state, federal, and other regulatory and accreditation agencies, including, but not limited to, TJC, CARF, DFS and OSHA. Coordinates activities of MRH with other FirstHealth entities and divisions to assure operational improvement opportunities are identified and implemented. Works closely with other senior leadership in the development and management of integrated healthcare delivery initiatives. Serves as administrative representative to the MRH Board of Trustees and other boards or committees as assigned. Participates in community activities representing MRH and FirstHealth. Prepares reports and maintains records in accordance with corporate needs, accrediting bodies and/or regulatory agencies.
Bachelor s degree in management, finance, business, nursing, or other healthcare related field required. Masters Degree in healthcare, business or related field preferred.Ten years experience in a healthcare/hospital executive leadership position required. Working knowledge of Office automation and strong leadership/interpersonal skills required. Knowledge of large/regional hospital management, planning, systems, methods and processes required. Effective planning, organizational, resource, oral and written communication skills also required.
