Under the general direction and supervision of the Unit Facilitator, Assistant Directors, and the Director, Childcare Associates are responsible for the development, implementation, and supervision of developmentally appropriate classroom settings designed to meet individual and group needs of children six weeks to twelve years of age. Establish appropriate environments equipped with learning centers, materials, and activities arranged to a)invite child participation, b)enhance general development and growth, and c)promote children s engagement and interactions with the environment, caregivers, and peers to encourage communication and social behaviors, self-directed learning and spontaneous play. High School Graduate or equivalent; Child Development Associate Credential, and Associate Degree in early childhood or related field preferred. One to three years experience as a childcare provider preferred. CPR and First Aid certification acquired within first 90 days of employment. Flex Days
