Job Description:

Architect, design, implement, test, and deploy circuits for high speed optical networking applications.

Duties consist of working with systems engineers to understand feature requirements, developing architectural approaches to problems, selecting components based on cost and space limitations, working with schematic capture tools, interfacing with board layout resources, performing signal integrity simulations, bringing up initial prototypes, testing at the subsystem level, integrating hardware and software, debugging end-to-end implementations across functional teams, and writing release notes Qualifications


BSEE, MSEE preferred


Familiarity with ECAD tool chains, simulation and synthesis tools, and with current generation high speed technologies including integrated FPGA SERDES and optical components. Strong analog and digital debugging skills. Prior experience designing and debugging OTN mixing and Ethernet switching applications at data rates ranging from 10Gb/s to 100Gb/s. Hands-on experience with a variety of optical and packet test equipment such as OTN, Ethernet, and Fiber Channel test sets. Ability to work in a fast-paced R&D environment, and interact with systems engineers, FPGA developers, and software coders.
