Our Philadelphia Water and Wastewater team is seeking a CAD Technician/Drafter to join our group and partner with our local engineers and drafters in other offices to provide drafting and design support.
Primary responsibilities will include plotting and assembling design plans, using established CAD standards to prepare electronic drawings from marked-up plans and/or verbal instruction by engineers/designers; Organizing and scheduling work to accomplish goals on projects within established budgets and timelines; and coordination with engineers and other design team members. Candidates should be familiar with plan and profile drawings, site/civil and plant/process work.
Candidate should be motivated and able to execute project tasks and work collaboratively with other project staff for on-budget/on-schedule project execution. The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, the ability to prioritize tasks to perform on multiple assignments concurrently and have a high level attention to detail. Candidate Specification Mott MacDonald seeks a CAD Technician with 0-3 years of experience on water and/or wastewater projects. Minimum required qualifications are defined as follow:
* Certificate in design/drafting with AutoCAD training from a recognized institution
* 0-3 years experience with AutoCAD software including Civil 3D
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Basic mathematical skills, eg. Averages, percentages.
