Civil Engineer

- The candidate will be responsible for the design and review of both transmission line and substation civil engineering projects. - This will include the design of structural steel for substation switch stands, buss work, takeoff structures and other steel members required to support substation equipment. - In conjunction with this the candidate will be required to design the concrete foundation for the previously described equipment. - The candidate will also be responsible for reviewing plans designed by outside consultants. - To perform these tasks, the candidate will be required to first become intimately familiar with client's civil and substation design standards. - The candidate will also be required to perform on-site construction reviews to ensure that contractors are adhering to our standards and design prints.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree Years - 3-5 years experience - The candidate MIST HAVE
civil structural experience including steel and foundation design. - Knowledge
of MathCAD and RISA software is a MUST as well. - Experience with AutoCAD
and PLSCADD design software. - Experience in transmission line design is
a plus but is not required. - The Candidate should have a Minimum of 2
years experience.- Bachelors degree in civil engineering is required. -
