Our customers need us the most when they file a claim. As an Allstate Claims Service Specialist, you will play a vital role to ensure we deliver on our promise to help restore people?s lives after they?ve experienced a loss. Each day you will be responsible for managing a steady volume of new claims involving property losses such as theft, lightning and windstorm. Most importantly, you will work with our customers to guide them through the claims process in a caring and professional manner. You will handle every step from managing incoming calls and data entry, to negotiating and settling claims. Specific responsibilities include:
-A CPS spends 70%+ of their day on the phone with customers -Maintaining positive relationships with customers -Handle a steady volume of claims on a daily basis -Other administrative duties as assigned.

Compensation and other important information:
-Starting salary: $12.60 hourly (paid bi-weekly). A 10% shift differential pay will be added to the starting salary for this 2nd shift position. -Excellent benefits starting on your first day of employment, including 401K, health, dental, vision and life insurance. -First 3 weeks will include training classes from 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm. -Complete training runs for 5 weeks and is mandatory. No time off will be permitted during this period. Position will require working rotating Saturdays and holiday shifts as necessary. -Permanent shift will run from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, beginning April 16, 2012.
Requirements:
Ideal qualifications include:
� -Excellent customer service skills and a passion to help others -Excellent listening and interpersonal skills -Strong written and verbal communication skills -Minimum 3 years customer service experience -Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills -Ability to accurately type 40+ wpm, use of computer systems -Bachelors degree is preferred-High School diploma/GED is required
