Job Description: Sorry, Visa / sponsorship not available. The Class A Driver is responsible for the transportation of hazardous waste from a generator/facility to a Clean Harbors facility and/or an outside disposal facility adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) and hazardous waste regulations. You will be responsible for ensuring that the proper loading and unloading of hazardous/non-hazardous waste adheres to weight and ensuring the proper utilization of company equipment. In addition you will comply with company policies & procedures, DOT, HAZMAT and RCRA requirements/regulations. You will also be responsible for maintaining daily logs, timesheets, expenses reports, dispatch & trip reports and vehicle inspection reports. This is an OTR position traveling between 2200 and 3000 miles per week and $55.00 per day per diem while in a sleeper. An hourly rate will be in place for local routes. Job Requirements: A minimum of 12 months driving experience hauling hazardous materials with Hazmat and Tank Endorsements and a clean driving record is required. Hazwoper training is a plus.
