Client Account Manager- DerivServ - ReqCode 4606

Position Summary

This position has been created to provide DTCC with the capacity and talent to strengthen its position as one of the world's leading providers of OTC Derivative post execution services. The position joins a small and dynamic global account management team that has recently been created to focus on the expansion of the global client base for DTCC's repository services and solutions, during a period of unprecedented change within the financial markets.

The global regulatory environment that drives our client's reporting and compliance needs and therefore the services we provide will continue to change and evolve over the coming years. Therefore the successful candidate will need to be ultimately flexible and adaptable in their approach to their role and how they manage their new and existing clients.

The role is made up of two related elements. Firstly client out-reach and engagement. For which the first phase here is to introduction DTCC to new clients, provide an overview our Global Trade Repository services, and give them a better understanding of the challenges our Industry faces to comply with the ever changing regulatory landscape. This is achieved through roadshows, conferences, press articles, literature etc. The second phase is to identify the interested parties and take them to the next level of information sharing through 121 sessions or smaller working groups. This leads to the final phases where DTCC provide a collective service to onboard and support the client to the completion of their reporting requirements, through the implementation of our services.

The Second element is more in-line with a normal account manager role. Where the Account Manager will ensure clients understand the firm's strategic direction, as well support the client needs in line with these. This will require active coordination across multiple business functions within DTCC, including Business leads, operations, technology and other product management teams.

The Account Manager should expect to have regular customer contact and be comfortable presenting and understanding complex workflows from a business, operational and IT perspective.

Principal Responsibilities &

Job Scope
* Work with the team and management to delivery the multi-facetted outreach strategy.
* Develop inative ways to expand our profile and connect with possible clients, ensuring they receive quality and up-to-date information
* Build client basis and assist them to the successful implementation of DTCC repositories services.

Coordinate internally to ensure clients receive an exemplary service, especially within the initial phases

Actively manage client accounts with regular meetings and conference calls to ensure they understand our strategic development and direction across all asset classes and services.

Internal reporting of client status and development of account management services.

Act as a client escalation point for any issues related to our repository services.

Understand and communicate the business and regulatory drivers behind usage of our services and be able to explain these in detail.

Experience:
* Experience with OTC middle office or post-trade processes or derivative operations experience preferred.
* Investment Bank Derivative relationship management experience a plus
* hands on experience and problem solving skills
* U nderstanding of the dynamics of a complex business and project environment and an awareness of the strategic issues
