Client Services Representative I

JOB SUMMARY:Perform a wide variety of duties including accessioning of courier and ER specimens, registration of outpatients and courier work, distribution of patient reports and processing of clinical specimens. Serve as a liaison between PMC departments and its customers in response to inquiries and problems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school graduate or equivalent (GED) is required
Typing skills of 30 wpm at a minimum are required.
Previous data entry/keypunch experience is required.
One to two (1-2) years continuous, recent experience within a registration office or laboratory is preferred.
Previous demonstrated experience with third-party payors is preferred. Demonstrated experience within medical third-party field is preferred.
Course or previous background in medical terminology is preferred.
Must successfully complete LIS and HIS training and demonstrate proficiency at the end of 90 days.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must demonstrate good customer service skills.
Must participate in Hepatitis B vaccination program or sign waiver declining vaccine. Full time/Including every other weekend & holiday Days and Flex As Needed High school diploma or equivalent is required.
