Michael s House Treatment Center is a refuge of healing
and recovery nestled at the base of the San Jacinto
Mountains in Palm Springs, California. For many years,

FRN is currently seeking a Clinical Coordinator, to be
responsible for team collaboration and provision of
specific aspects of patient care. Our clinical team is
second to none and we want someone to join the team who
will be willing to go the extra mile to see our patients
succeed. The ideal candidate will have the ability to
inspire our clients confidence in both our staff and
the FRN Model of Treatment. Patient-centered care is not

position is located at Foundations Recovery Network s
residential treatment facility, Michael s House, in Palm
Springs, California.
Requirements:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conducts individual and group therapy sessions with
Residential clients
Responsible for updating and collaborating with Client
Care Coordinators
Participates in weekly staff meetings regarding each
client and gives recommendations
Provides therapy services for individuals assigned to
caseload
Ensures orientation of new clients immediately upon
admission
Obtains history and presenting information as
delineated in program policy
Collaboratively develops and updates an individualized
treatment plan with the individual, which includes a
targeted discharge date and plan
Defines all relevant community resources affecting
care and treatment of the client (e.g. attorney, family,
case manager, etc.) and develops and follows contact
plans and conjoint therapy plans
Updates referring sources on client progress, if/as
approved by the individual in services
Utilizes agency endorsed, client-centered therapeutic
interventions and rapport-building practices, including
motivational interviewing techniques, to
non-confrontationally enhance consumer insight regarding
diagnostic and usage patterns
Documents treatment episodes, contacts, treatment
plans, and sessions according to periodicity and content
requirements
Maintains appointed continuous caseload of actively
engaged individuals
Responds to crisis as needed
Coordinates comprehensive discharge plan to ensure
seamless community reintegration
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to inspire client confidence in the FRN Staff
and the FRN Model of Treatment.
Ability to consistently demonstrate, through conduct
and communications, the stability required to
effectively assist patients and their family members
through the FRN Model of Treatment
Working knowledge of 12-step, DBT, and MI techniques
and programs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
required
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to
prioritize workload and meet deadlines
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with
demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks
and demands
Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
Proven ability to handle multiple projects under
pressure
Must have high level of interpersonal skills, as this
position continually requires demonstrated poise,
professionalism, tact, and diplomacy
Must have strong knowledge of a variety of computer
software applications in word processing, spreadsheets,
and presentations (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Understanding of diverse cultures and gender specific
issues and the ability to incorporate needs of gender
and culturally diverse groups into the organization
Exhibits excellent customer relations skills, as
evidenced by supportive and constructive communication
with all contacts, including co-workers, patients,
residents, visitors, families, and referral sources
Understands need for and maintains appropriate
confidentiality at all times when interacting with
patients, residents, families, visitors, referral
sources, and all other contacts
Minimal overnight travel required
Due to the 24/7 operational demands, must typically be
available after normal working hours and on holidays to
manage emergencies that may arise
A current, valid driver s license is required for
frequent business travel between locations.
Education/Experience
Minimum of Bachelor s degree in psychology, social
work, or related field required; Master s degree
preferred; or equivalent experience
Licensure or licensure eligible or in process of
obtaining, required
Minimum 3-5 years experience in mental health or
substance abuse field required
