Department: Practice Administration

The Clinical Director of Nursing for ambulatory services is accountable for planning and providing well coordinated, high quality ambulatory patient care, consistent with the mission, values and operating principles of the medical group. Provides oversight of nursing practice in the ambulatory setting. Monitors daily activities of the ambulatory clinics and is accountable for ensuring safe, competent and compassionate patient care is uniformly and consistently provided in all clinics. Graduate of an accredited Baccalaureate program in Nursing. Master s Degree in Nursing preferred. Licensed in the State of Idaho as a Registered Nurse. Minimum of 5 years of progressive clinical management role experience. Experience in an ambulatory clinical setting. Ability to work independently, as well as to be part of a collaborative team and to manage multiple projects to a successful and timely completion.Demonstrated skills in leadership, facilitation, conflict resolution, project management, problem solving, data and project analysis and presentation abilities.Exceptional interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with senior management team, physicians, directors of operations, clinic managers and staff.Experience leading change efforts in complex health care setting preferred.Excellent communication and team building skills.Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Intermediate computer skills with an emphasis on MS Word and Excel.Demonstrated knowledge of clinical regulatory requirements including Joint Commission, Board of Pharmacy. Full-time Day Shift Bachelors Degree RN required 5 years of experience required
