Job Description

Facility: William W. Backus Hospital at Norwich
Department: Nursing Education
In this position, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for staff orientation, curriculum development, continuing education, competency assessment and development, and clinical mentoring. You will collaborate with other educators and leadership team to identify learning needs of surgical services staff and promote professional development. The successful candidate must demonstrate leadership, critical thinking, and effective communication skills. Qualifications include a BSN and completion of a Master s Degree in Nursing, Education or related field required within 4 years from date of hire. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years recent experience in the relevant nursing specialty as it relates to the units or departments being serviced. License and Certifications: CT RN License in good standing is required. ACLS, BLS & PALS instructor preferred.
No weekends (M-F) Days
