Clinical Finance Manager

Our client a pharmaceutical company in the South SF area is looking for a Clinical/ RD Finance Manager to join their team for a direct hire opportunity.
Clinical Finance Manager
Duties:
- Main duty is to be responsible for the tracking & analyzing the financial details of clinical trials.
- Review, audit, modify & prepare a variety of financial reports & general correspondence within required timeframes.
- Manage the trial's financial data & develop strategies to keep costs within project constraints.
- Manage the clinical trials budget & planning process.
- Manage & track monthly accounting for clinical contracts
- Prepare monthly budget versus actual reports, including quarterly rolling expense & cash forecasts.
- Quarterly presentations to management team on financial progress of clinical trial.
- Continuously track cost performance & provide updates to team leaders on current financial & productivity performance.
- Ensure that all internal & partner reporting requirements are accurate, complete, & timely. Prepare quarterly partner reporting.
- Manage purchase order requests, estimates, & track trial expenditures.
- Manage communication with external vendors, Accounts Payable to ensure payments are made accurately & in a timely manner.
- Review vendor contracts, negotiate financial terms.
- Act as key participant & liaison between Finance Department, Regulatory Affairs, RD, Quality Assurance, & Project Management.
- Serve as the primary contact regarding financial issues with the CROs, vendors & partners.
