The CIS Educator is Registered Nurse. The educator will provide and coordinate computer applied for ongoing education for new and existing Clinical Information System (CIS) users, including but not limited to, hospital staff, medical staff, school instructors, and designated temp agency employees. The CIS Educator will collaborate with clinical departments to identify, refine, and focus on educational efforts. Other areas of focus include but are not limited to: the development, improvement and maintenance of staff curriculum and competencies thereby improving overall staff performance, skills day lab, and on-going systems upgrade education.

The CIS Educator is responsible for an annual education plan, calendars, and schedules of educational events. In addition, the CIS Educator will integrate hospital policies and procedures, professional standards and regulatory requirements into educational content, as well as other duties assigned including acting as a liaison to the Medical Staff. Attends committee meetings as requested by Clinical Information Systems Director.

The position also requires multi-facility oversight, corporate office, and travel on occasion out of the area other than corporate offices.
Full-Time Day Shift Current California RN License required Customer service skills are required Management or Supervisory experience preferred Minimum 2 years experience required Prior hospital experience preferred
