As an Adult Health Services Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) with Salem Health, you will leverage a depth of clinical experience to lead your practice while reporting to and collaborating with a Nursing Director. Were looking for a someone with an Adult Health Servicesnbsp;focus who can: ul liFunction as a clinical expert in the diagnosis and treatment of illness, and the delivery of evidence-based nursing interventions (ANA, 2004).li liServe as an expert in executing delegated medical regimens associated with the diagnosis and treatment of disease for a specialty population.li liFunction independently to provide theory and evidence-based care to patientsclients in their attainment of health goals.li liCollaborate with other nurses to advance their nursing practices and improve outcomes, and provide clinical expertise to effect system-wide changes to improve programs of care.li liSpecialize in a delimited area of practice with evidence-based competencies associated with that specialty. Specialty areas are evolving as the science evolves. Typically, the specialty can be identified in terms of: a) a population; b) type of problem; c) setting; d) type of care; and e) diseasepathologymedical.liul If this describes you, we would love to hear from you; however, please ensure that you meet the following qualifications (only candidates who meet these qualifications will be considered): ul liCurrently licensed to practice nursing as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oregon, or have the ability to obtain licensure prior to date of hire.li liMinimum of four (4) years of clinical experience.li liMinimum Masters degree in Nursing with clinical specialty.
