Job Summary

The Clinic Resource Supervisor will be responsible for managing all clinic schedules of the Department of Orthopaedics. This position will lead and provide support and guidance to schedulers. The Clinic Resource Supervisor will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with departmental standards related to scheduling and authorizations.

This position will be responsible for developing analytical tools to trouble shoot problems and monitor performance. The goal of this position is to grow the practice in terms of clinic visits and subsequent tangential growth through enhancing schedules, creating efficiency and appropriate triage.

The flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations is required.

Required Qualifications

* Scheduling Experience (two years of experience)

* High School diploma or equivalent

* Demonstrated competence in MS Office: Word, and Outlook

* Demonstrated knowledge in MS Excel

* Ability to positively influence behavior of others without direct supervisory authority

* The flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations is required

Preferred Qualifications

* Associates or Bachelor s degree

* Demonstrated skills in conflict management and facilitation

* Demonstrated analytical problem solving skills

* Experience as a trainer

* Previous supervisory experience

* EPIC trained

* Orthopaedic knowledge and experience

* Medical Assistant or LVN experience

Work Environment
