This position does not involve any hiring or recruitment responsibilities and is not part of Human Resources\.The Staffing Specialist coordinates work schedules for clinical staff including Registered Nurses, Nursing Assistants \(C\.N\.A's\) and other clinical staff to ensure that staffing levels are appropriate for patient care areas in our inpatient hospital\. These duties will include development of schedules, processing of approved vacation and holiday time, receiving and covering sick calls, timely cancellations of per\-diem staff, and floating of staff as appropriate to current competencies and certifications\.Other duties will include keeping track of licenses and certifications that are required for these roles per Joint Commission/JACHO guidelinesas well asmaintaining data and records and statistical reporting in the overall staffing effort\. * have experience with clinical staff scheduling in a hospital inpatient setting\. Knowledge of Joint Commission/JACHO requirements is required for this role\. The person in this role must have knowledge of appropriate staffing ratios for inpatient hospital units\.Salary range:
$20\.54 to $28\.76 hourly
