Clinical Trials Contracts and Grants Project Specialist (ACRIN) Job Type: Full Time Location: Philadelphia, PA Job Description: Clinical Trials Contracts and Grants Project Specialist The American College of Radiology (w.ACR.org), a professional association for radiologists, radiation oncologists, medical physicists, interventional radiologists and nuclear medicine physicians, has been a major factor in radiology clinical research since the 1960s. Located in Philadelphia, the clinical research office administers the American College of Radiology Imaging Network (w.ACRIN.org) and other projects. ACRIN is a cooperative group that manages clinical trials of imaging technologies as they relate to cancer and other diseases. ACRIN both funds and provides a complete infrastructure for multi institutional clinical trials of imaging and related disciplines with support from the National Cancer Institute, the National Institutes of Health, other sources of grant funds, and the medical industry. ACRIN facilitates the development and implementation of trials, data acquisition and management, protocol design and biostatistical analysis, monitoring and quality assurance, financial management, and reporting of trials results. ACR is seeking a Project Specialist I to provide critical support to ACRIN's ability to pursue grant related funding opportunities and to engage the needed resources to meet research objectives.. As a member of the ACRIN team you will: . Translate funding awards as required to generate contracts with service providers and researchers. . Develop and provide status reports to ACRIN and ACR leadership related to contracting activities . Regularly communicate with other staff members to ensure payments for contractual services are provided on a timely and accurate basis. . Serve as liaison to ACR legal counsel to negotiate and resolve contractual terms with contracting parties. . Prepare grant related applications and associated documentation and submit applications to funding authorities on behalf of ACRIN . Ensure compliance with terms and conditions of awarded grant funds . Maintain document archive of all grant funding opportunities Qualified candidates will possess the following: . 4+ years of related experience required . This position typically requires a bachelor's degree or commensurate related experience . Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as superior presentation and interpersonal skills . Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail .
